It is that time of the year when family members reunite, some to comply with the wishes of their spouses, others to enjoy the good meals and harmony that a family brings.
Then there are also the people who do not have family or for one reason or another they do not reunite with their relatives in this happy season, to those the phantom of loneliness will be looming over them and that is a sad thing to observe.
There is also at this time of Christmas when we reminisce about the deeds we did in this past year, questions appear in our mind like,
– Did I treat my spouse fair? Did I love her enough?
– Were my children properly guided by me?
– Did I run my business and my job the best way possible?
– Do I have all the happiness that I want and need?
– Has God been good to me?
– Where did I make mistakes? What was that I did wrong?
– Am I what my Maker expects of me….?
Yes, these are questions which come to a healthy mind in these days of joy and happiness. It is in these days when we should pause, take a moment to remember and evaluate the events of the past year. As we do this exercise properly then we can create the New Year’s resolution to better ourselves in the areas we were weak or timid.
Yes, this time of the year is first for family and friends, but second and also important it is also the best time to evaluate our lives. To make sure we accomplish our balance with our friends, relatives, with our Maker and most important with ourselves. To that end you best action is to get connected to your Soulmate.
To you all, from Gainesville Georgia USA. Merry Christmas!
